Welcome to The Wormey Store terms and conditions. By registering your details or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Purchase of Products
We make every effort to ensure information on the website and in our literature is up-to-date and accurate. However The Wormery Store takes no responsibility whatsoever for information that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date The Wormery Store shall not be held liable to any individual or business for any damage or loss which may have occurred from the use of any matter contained on this website or in other Wormery store literature.
Delivery
Standard delivery £6.95. For orders of £6.50 or less the delivery rate is £4.00.
Deliveries are sent with City Link and should arrive within 1-2 working days of your order being processed. We will send you an email to let you know it has been dispatched but if you have not received your order within 10 working days, please get in touch.
At the Wormery Store we aim to deliver our products the day after payment has cleared. Should there be any delay we will contact you immediately.
It is essential to check all goods before signing for them. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged consignment, please write to notify us within 24 hours of delivery (see damaged goods policy).
Charges and delivery times will differ for Northern Ireland, Offshore Islands and Northern part of Scotland.
Returns
At The Wormery Store we are happy to offer a refund on any of our products if they are unwanted. We would ask that you notify us in writing (email being preferred) within seven days of receipt of the item. If you choose to notify us in writing please obtain proof of postage of notification.

When returning an unwanted item the customer is fully responsible for the full costs of returning the product back to us. This is explained in the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 (distance selling).
The goods must be received back at The Wormery Store in the condition in which they were sent. Unwanted items must be returned in the full original packaging in an unused condition. Should the product not be returned to us in a fully resalable condition then we reserve the right to refuse a refund.
Where an unwanted item is to be returned to The Wormery Store you are obliged to take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged either in transit i.e. posting back to us or whilst in your possession. To minimise the risk of damage in transit we would strongly recommend using either a courier service or a traceable method of posting to return the items to us. Any items missing from our products will be deducted form your, refund as will any additional postal costs incurred by the Wormery Store in recovery/receipt of goods.
A full refund inclusive of delivery charges, or replacement, will be given in the event of returning damaged items.
Failure to comply with any of these points this will affect your refund. Providing you have fully complied with all points on return of products to The Wormery Store we will refund your original purchase price of goods including any standard delivery charges we have charged you.
Damaged Goods
All Wormery Store products are hand checked at time of postage. Unfortunately items do get damaged in the post.
Should you take delivery of any damaged or faulty items we would ask that you inform The Wormery Store as soon as possible by email. Informing The Wormery Store of damage should not occur later than 7 days after receipt of products.
Should the damage be visible to the packaging on delivery we would request that you write this clearly on the delivery note at the time of receipt. This will help any claim against the courier company for damage in transit.
In this event we would be required to supply the buyers' details to the courier company to allow them to investigate to cause of damage.
If your product is damaged or faulty we will arrange a refund or replacement as appropriate and as outlined in our returns policy.
Incomplete Orders
All products are checked personally at time of dispatch. However should you take receipt of an incomplete order please contact The Wormery Store no later than 7 days after receipt of item. We will rectify the order as soon as possible.
Late Deliveries
The Wormery Store uses a courier service for delivery of all items. Whilst we endeavour to have all products delivered within 48hours of payment the courier company may be subject to delays which are beyond our control.
We appreciate the frustration this may cause and will assist fully in tracking of items to the best of our ability. We can only apologise if you are unfortunate enough to experience any delays in receipt of your ordered items.
Refused/Unclaimed Delivery
If delivery of the goods is refused or unclaimed from our courier or Royal Mail they will be automatically returned to us. We will issue a refund minus any transaction fees and delivery costs incurred for returning the goods to us.
Goods Incorrectly Addressed
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct and full postal address is supplied. Should we attempt delivery to the address you have provided, and the address is incorrect, The Wormery Store reserves the right to forward the costs of shipping to the customer, for either redelivery to the correct address or to return the items to our warehouse.
If a refund is required as a result of this situation then The Wormery Store reserves the right to withhold all delivery charges incurred as a result of an incorrect address being supplied as well as any monies for fees related to sale.
Payment
We accept the following methods:
- Credit cards - Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta
- Cheques & Postal Orders (please cross for extra security). Products will be subject to a delivery delay via this method until payment has cleared.
- Cash (accepted, but please use a secure method of sending)
We are now also able to take card payments over the telephone.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to The Wormery Store and we aim to protect all personal data (as defined by the data protection Act 1998) given to us when you use this site. The information used will be used solely by us for the fulfilment of your order and sold, distributed or leased to any other organisation without your prior knowledge and consent.
Customers' card details are not stored on our databases and are handled only by our payment service provider, Google pay.
